“Chachoengsao is a town 50kms east of Bangkok, with direct access via train, a two-hour journey on the Eastern line from Hua Lamphong station. There are at least a dozen departures in both directions between Bangkok and Chachoengsao.

Travelling by train is cheap but it is quicker from Bangkok by bus, at around half the time. Buses travel either from the Eastern (Ekamai) or Northern bus terminals. The bus station in Chachoengsao is located south of town, but it is in a useful area.

There are a couple of large supermarkets next to the complex and several markets are held in the town, including a covered market that operates only at the weekend. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink as there is a university close to the town.”
