Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2

Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2 is known as “Bor Kor Sor Mai” among the locals, which translates as ‘new bus terminal’. Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 1 is the old bus terminal, which locals refer to as “Bor Kor Sor Gao”. Both terminals are about 6 kilometres apart.

Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2 is located along Phitsanulok Bypass Road at Tambon Samo Khae, Amphoe Mueang at the province of Phitsanulok. A large white sign in Thai language serves as a landmark for Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2.

You will see the Information Counter once you enter the bus terminal. You can approach this counter should you require any assistance. Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2 also offers baggage storage services at their Information Counter. Small-sized luggage is charged at 20 baht per day; larger ones are at 40 baht per day.

You can exchange for bus tickets using the confirmation email from BusOnlineTicket.co.th at the ticket counter. Ticket counters are located on both sides of the bus terminal.

After collecting your bus tickets, you can proceed to wait for the bus at the sitting area.

In the centre of the sitting area, you will notice a set of yellow seats. These seats are reserved specially for Thai Buddhist monks and nuns – do not sit there!

The bus platforms are on opposite side of the ticket counters. The platforms are numbered and indicate the bus operator name and destination. If unsure, check with the bus driver or steward using your bus ticket before boarding the bus.

If you wish to grab a quick bite or meal before embarking on your journey, you can head up to the 2nd floor, where there are restaurants serving Thai food. There are also cafes selling beverages such as coffee, fresh fruit juices and more. There is also a bookshop, internet café, and massage parlor. There are also shops selling Phitsanulok specialty products, if you require some souvenirs. Perfumes, clothes, sunglasses and other items are also available at the shops on the 2nd floor.

Alternatively, you may choose to visit Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2’s Market, which is located at a separate building next to the bus terminal.

If you are arriving at Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2, you can take a metered taxi from across the bus platform to reach your hotel.

If you are unable to see any available taxis there, you can approach the taxi counter at Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2. This is located next to the central staircase.

Alternatively, you can head out to the entrance of Phitsanulok Bus Terminal 2 to look for taxis there.
